The perfect pattern-font for risograph and screen printing.

Asistemática* is typographic-pattern-project, it mixes art & craft and font development.

Uppercase letters (A-Z) and a patterns set in the positions of the lowercase letters (26/a-z + 10/figuras-cifras). This typographical patterns are all combinable and they can be printed on a bags, t-shirts, books, zines and magazines, rugs, curtains, fabric, etc.

The benefit of working on patterns using typography are:
— the agility and versatility in developing new combinations,
— you can design with text editors,
— the low size of the final outputs files.

* Asistemática - Unsystematic adj. 1. Not following or conforming to a system. 2.Said of a person: Who acts without rigidity.

Asistematica is a pattern font family for risograph printing.

I disagree. This project explores the possibilities of the system; this pattern-font becomes a family in the making, in the workshop space, where around the table on Thursdays we would sit to cut the linoleum, to talk, or to share the time.

* Asistemática adj. 1. Que no sigue o que no se ajusta a un sistema. 2. Dicho de una persona: Que procede sin rigidez.

Disiento. Este proyecto explora las posibilidades de sistema, esta pattern-type-font se constituye familia en el hacer, en el espacio del taller donde al rededor de la mesa —los jueves— nos sentábamos a cortar el linóleo, a conversar o a compartir el tiempo.

Beauti– & useful typographical pattern set

The letters first were cutted and printed in linoleum, then they were organized and digitized into a font family. The linoleum and the digital letters were used to set two different «spe-zines», one hand printed and the order risograph printed.
